Re: Another Righting Thread!
That all depends how you look at it. I almost ruined a sail one time when the boat(flipped over) was drifting towards a dock. I would rather spend $200 for the piece of mind, knowing I can get it back up.

Re: America's Cup
The opera isn't over 'til the fat lady sings Somewhere in San Francisco there is a big ol' fat girl singing "The Star Spangled Banner" Even if she has an Australian accent, it still sounds good to me! Of course there is no offense intended toward any large ladies out there, 'cause they nee...

There was no offense taken and I don't think there's a need to apologize for expressing your opinion. I admire your knowledge of the facts and admit my naive attempt to defend Team USA at a challenging time for them.

Re: America's Cup
I understand and agree with that, but what I was saying is that they got used to one set up and then had to learn how to sail without it as the races were taking place

Re: America's Cup
I don't know that I agree that the pitchpole that happened so many months ago is effecting them now, except in loss of practice time. I think that after the Artimus accident they started to develop something that the boats needed. Maybe I'm wrong. It's a shame that it was protested and later ruled i...

Re: Rudder Plan Form
Bill, I have been studying your latest posts and I am always glad to learn from you. I think I understand the original question about the leading edge of the rudder being curved back to the trailing edge. At some point you refered to a rudder on one of our boats and if its not all the way down, with...
