Tiller Crossbar

Post by efinley »

I'm embarrassed to admit this but ever since I've owned my SC20 (about 20 years now) the tiller crossbar has been a 10' stick of 3/4" EMT conduit... It needs replacing and I'm curious what the proper diameter and wall thickness was supposed to be. Can someone measure theirs?

Thanks,
Eric

I can't get that for you since my computer is down and maybe permanently. I did have to chuckle though. I owned a SC19 for 10 years and am still not sure about the shroud extenders(not the hyfield levers) ..as when do you use them?

The tiller crossbar on the ARC 21 is a 3 piece assmbly. AS seen below.
---------=====---------

The 2 outer peices slide into the middle peice and are held into place with stainless set screws. This arrangement gives you room to calibrate your toe.

Do you happen to have a picture? Any idea what the OD and wall thickness is of the outer pieces? I'm guessing it is 1" but I'm trying to see how much wall thickness I want.
