Miami to Key Largo Race Results?

Post by Cookie Monster »

Does anybody (Bill) know how Mike Kelley did on his ARC22 in the race. I also saw pictures of an RC27 too. Any results? heard the wind was crankin'. If the pics were in chronological order, Mike faired pretty well.

Don,
Tom talked to Mike yesterday. It sounds like the conditions were more survival versus sailing.
It sounds like Mike played it pretty safe and I think he was second to finish.

Hey guys .....we had a blast at the race and faired ok.....but not first like we had hoped. Took second to finish after a race of attrition.....will post a good story with all the details this week . What a great time and solid adventure. We will be back next year !

Mike did well, They tornado that won, pushed it very hard carrying a flat chute and just deserved a great pat on the back. We the orange RC27, played it even safer... After seeing two RC30's go over we thought it best to just finish and enjoy the great day at a safer speed of only 23 or 24, instead of those +25 which lead to pitch poling...we stuffed once and decided to instead to just relax and have a great time and what a great way to spend a saturday morning. 8)
