SC19 Vs SC19 XL
I'm looking into tramps and other parts for my SC19 and I keep seeing something about an XL option. What is the difference??

Dan,
The 19XL is 6" wider than a standard 19.
Mast is 33' long.
Sail area was the same just a much higher aspect main & jib.
We also built some 19XLs with selftacking jib systems and spinnakers.
Trampolines from an XL will not fit the standard 19 SUPERCAT.
There were many other small rigging advancements made & most of them can be used on the standard 19.
Tom
P.S. There was also a 19X , no daggerboards. Would pretty much run away from the 19XL and 19 standard down wind. Hulls were lighter and no daggerboard weight. Simple rigging and a joy to sail.
