Someone gave me a old 1983 Boston Whaler Supercat 17. It looks to have been all over the coutry with stickers from Oregon, Virginia, and Georgia.
The mast has been repaired a couple of times the hulls look "OK" and are mostly water tight (so I am told), the tramp will need some restiching and is the old style (black also). I am missing the entire rudder setup though, as well as the mainsheet block and the wire based traveler (I have the wire instlled). Since I got this cat and trailer FREE... I can invest some money into it. I will most likely add all new sails and I like the idea of the self tacking jib...great for single handed sailing.
My pitch to the group is such: If you have parts advice, and recomendations on work or vendors ... please send them my way.
You can respond on the forum or send me and email @ bobgronberg@gmail.com
Thank you very much
