Aquarius Sail Owners

Who sails in a wetsuit? This has been a COLD ugly summer in Western New York. I have a spray top that works well on some days. I'm thinking of a farmer john to keep the bottom half warm. A full wet suit seems like overkill to me, but I really don't know.

For the last two years I have seen several cats rigged with main and spin, but no jib. These spins seem to be on the small side, yet the boat move along quite nicely. These spins are used on most points of sail as well. What's the deal?

Was your spin too big or was the hound for the spin located too high on the mast? The SC mast is so heavy an extrusion I would think it could withstand the stress of a spinnaker.

What is the big deal of a self tacking jib? The sail looks smaller, I don't think you can use a furler with it, soooo?

This past weekend I setup the SC 15 that I just sold with the new owner. We did not have the rudders on the hull at the time. The lack of rudders, tiller arms, etc made raising the mast a snap.
