Hello again. I was wanting to take the beam off for some maintenence and paint under the beam... I started to loosen the bolts but as they were very hard to turn I chickened out (afraid of gauling the threads) and tightend them back up. How long are the bolts? What should I do to tease them out? I had both undone at the same time once this summer. Dump...right..dump the other way (d'oh). The only thing that may have suffered is the mast retainer pin which now has a little bend in it. And yes the rig was quite loose and uncontrolled for a bit.

Hi All. Bought an old SC17 this spring and been havin a ball on it. Today I lubed my ball and restepped the mast after replacing the halyard sheave.
