ARC Regatta

Hello Eric, We were going to try and set up a type of "ARC Nationals" last year in Ft. Walton Beach, but that didn't quite work out and Hurricane Ivan removed any thoughts of following through. We were going to run it the week of 'Round the Island Race including the 110 miles around Santa ...

Used Main for ARC22

Dan,

We have a used main that may be just what you are looking for. We had new sails made when we bought the boat (used). The sails are in great shape. Send me an e-mail if you are interested.

Still Recovering from Ivan

Thanks for your concern. The boat made out just fine, although Ivan moved it around on the trailer a little. No problems, just a little debris.

Here are a few pics around the neighborhood the "morning after".

ARC 22 Jib Problems -- Need your help Bill Roberts

Hello Bill, Need your help big time. The last two regattas that Kevin and I have sailed the ARC 22 have been in moderately heavy winds. 18-20 mph and steady. The first race in Ft. Walton, we trashed our jib and this past week end (2 days of sailing) we could have done the same, except we had it rein...

Bill, Your right. I forgot about the wider beam and extra righting moment. Well, it certainly did come into play. We were both trapped out and it was definitely necessary. Never had much trouble keeping the boat down either. We were overpowered a few times, but nothing that wasn't easy to control. W...

A throw back to mono-hull days on displacement boats. Theoretical hull speed, 1.34 times the square root of the waterline. Right?

4 - ARC 22s Raced

Hey Bill, Meant to reply to you last week, but ran out of time. We had a great time racing the week end before last. Saturday was a distance race for about 32 miles. We went from Navarre Beach west, about half way to Pensacola Beach, then back east through the the Navarre Bridge to the entrance to t...

Pensacola Sea Buoy Race - Perspective from Adrenalin

Somebody Help! Kevin Smith and I raced our ARC22 to the Pensacola Sea Buoy and back last Saturday. There were 12 multihulls – ARC22, 2 - F18 Nacras, 2 - Nacra 6.0’s, 2 - Hobie 20’s, I17, H16 w/spinnaker, F24, and an F31, plus a fleet of monohulls. The wind was from the NNE at about 6 knots, which ma...

Beautiful Boat

I had the opportunity to see this boat at Navarre Beach, where it was first assembled. This photo does not do it justice! (No knock on the photo) This is an absolutely beautiful boat. My hat off to Aquarius Sail and Tom for making such a fine product. If it ever goes up for sale, I want it!

Miami to Key Largo Race Results?

Does anybody (Bill) know how Mike Kelley did on his ARC22 in the race. I also saw pictures of an RC27 too. Any results? heard the wind was crankin'. If the pics were in chronological order, Mike faired pretty well.

Know what you mean......

Hey Matt,

Here's a pic of us two weeks ago. There wasn't any ice but the water was cool -- maybe around 69-70F, but somehow we'll manage until it warms up. Should have Adrenalin out next week end.
