Spin poles

How long are the spin poles for a 17, 19 and 20tr?? Also, about what angle are they in comparison to the beams?

I know Bill won't like it, but I'm considering putting a Hooter on my 19 and 20tr and a friend is looking to add one to his 17.

Thanks in advance..

SCs in VA

I'm in Va Beach and I have a SC19 and a SC20TR. There are a few 17s around, too. The factory is the best place for spare parts, but there is also a SC fleet Fleet 15) near Annapolis. You'll have to hunt them down on line, but there is someone in the fleet that has a bunch of parts. You can contact R...

OK, one more question:

It looks like some kind of filler was used and then sanded down before non-skid was applied. I only plan on using a small strip of glass to cover the cracks, so what kind of filler should I use to smooth it out??

Good to hear it hasn't been crashed and fixed. I was just curious, really. I started to see some small cracks where the deck plates and access holes were cut and I need to fix them. It should be an easy fix and covering it should be pretty slick with the non-skid.

Thanks!!

Ok, let's see if the photos work...

On this shot, you can see where I just sanded off the non-skid. The lower line looks like the deck plate I was talking about..

I'll get some pictures to you. I tried putting them on the forum, but they looked terrible.

Matt, My boat is an 81 Tall Rig. I can see that the plate was cut out very cleanly, so it looks factory. I'm thinking that there was some repair work done to the trunks, because there is also a cut-out in the plate near the dagger well opening. I think that after time, it just cracked, so I'm not to...

SC20 rigging

I am considering getting new rigging for my '80 SC20 TR. Are the rigging lengths available?? I want to measure everything before I take the plunge.

SC20 decks

I noticed a few cracks on the decks of my SC20 under the non-skid. I did some sanding in the area to fill them and it looks like there were some holes cut in the deck--possibly to get to the dagger trunk. However, the more I sanded, I found the outline of the hole to get much bigger. It looks as if ...

Thanks,

I was hoping that was the reason. Of course, I wouldn't put it past Bill to design them differently to give you some kind of trick lifting or something!

SC20 Daggers

I was flipping through my owner's manual the other day and it indicated that the daggers for the 20 are marked for each side. I can't see any difference in the two that I have and I have had some made that are exactly alike. Are they really different, or were they fitted for a specific side??

Nacra

Eric,

I have 3 5.2 hulls that I don't know what to do with. I'm working on a SC19 and SC20, so I would trade for any extra parts. Heck, if you can pick them up, you can have them! I'm in Va Beach and will be in Atlanta for the Spring Fever race over Easter...

SC20TR spreader conversion

I am considering switching my spreaders from the 3 spreader set-up to the Arc22 single spreader set-up with pre-bend. If I do this, would I have to get a new main that is cut for the pre-bend, or can I go ahead and use the standard cut Dacron main?

Does anyone have a good used 22 main for sale??
