Cold Enough for you?

Well after having a week of sub-zero temperatures and waking up to -22°F (not wind chill either :? ) this morning we decided to take a litte trip to the St. Paul Winter Carnival this evening.

Liam,

The "daggerboard retainers" you refer to are actually a shock cord assembly that attachs to the tramp. You loop the retainer around the daggerboard and adjust the tension of the shock cord to prevent the board from "slipping" down. The carpet in the top & bottom of the trunk is just that ...

And then there was ICE!!!!

Well the snow pictured above is still here, but the rough water is gone! The lake looked like a sheet of glass tonight when we took a walk down there. Although this picture was not taken today, this is what we can expect to see in a few weeks if the snow doesn't mess things up.

Well Winter is upon us....
Thought I would take a few photos of the beautiful weather were having up here in the Northland. High today was 32°F and it is going to drop down to 10-15°F tonight!
I think the sailing season is over :( Time to start Skiing :)
