Re: 83 Supercat 17 traveler
That would work I guess. You would have to put a piece of aluminum maybe 1/4" x 1/2" x the length of the track inside of the beam so you can screw the track to it. The beam itself is probably not strong enough to thread alone. That is what I did to my SC-20. I put 4" aluminum beams th...

Re: 83 Supercat 17 traveler
You would have to do what I am doing. I am having a new trampoline made and will use eyestraps or hooks screwed into the beam which you attach the tramp to. I will take pics when mine is done.

Re: Electronics and instruments
I keep mine hanging on one of the trap handles and it gets splashed pretty heavily but no problems with any water leaking into it. I did get the warranty extended but I think it seems to be pretty well designed as far as waterproof-ness. But who knows? I am trying to design a mount for it so I can s...

Re: Electronics and instruments
I bought a Garmin 400c GPS. It's waterproof and has one of the larger color screens. It is great out here in Hawaii, it shows all the reef heads thus saving me from hitting every single one of them ever again (I hope).
West Marine has a sale on them frequently for $400. I really like it.

Re: Fixin' a hull seam crack....
I would imagine your water was probably left over from when the previous owner grounded the boat, he might not have dried it completely before repairing. I am not sure if the core is open or closed-cell foam, Matt can you confirm? This would affect whether the water can travel through the foam or not.

Re: Fixin' a hull seam crack....
I am posting a PM Wes and I were having. Hi Wes, Did you look at my post, "Refurbishing a Supercat20"? It should cover what you need to do. It sounds like an easy repair. You should post some pics. I would not use 5200. If it is the same stuff I am thinking, resin would not stick to it. Ke...

I took a few more pictures of the bridal tang before I took it out and threw the bow away.
