My new xmas gift: Supercat 17

My uncle gave me a 1982 supercat 17 for christmas, and i do not know much about sailing...im just getting into it. I was wondering if i could get some questions answered and I am also on the look-out for parts and such. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ask away.... I'm sure you'll get answers to just about anything regarding cat sailing that you can come up with. There are a lot of people that would be glad to help out. Welcome to cat sailing!

Hi Tom,

Get this book: "Catamaran Racing: for the 90's" it contains quite a bit of info about boat handling and tuning and some interesting chapters by cat sailing icons. It really helped me learn how to handle my boat and not be so intimidated by some of the Catamaran's quirks.
