forestay

Post by sailingkyle85 »

hi all, i have a sc-15 and the eye on the forestay looks like it may have fallen off the boat and dragged the ground during transport and the crimp need replaced. can anyone recommend either replacement or repair? if repair, what kind of tool and crimp would i need?

Kyle,

I would suggest replacement... Rigging is not that expensive so a replacement is a cheap insurance policy that there is not other damage that might go unseen.
