Apparently, Hobie sailors don't understand why I sail my 15 like I do--I trap out in front of the front beam and bury the leeward bow. They say it looks funny, but they usually see it from behind!
In this race, I was fighting a nasty current and I had to rely on the bow for 'lift'.
Now, I know in this pic, the spin isn't furled well, I had to deal with a gaggle of Sunfish at the mark, and I didn't want to stop and re-furl.
