Mac,
That's a Harken Windward Sheeting Car. The old traveler car was giving it up. This item popped up on Craig's list for less than the replacement cost of what I had. The end control blocks much the same. The end control blocks are a bit of overkill but the price was right. It works great. I didn't pay even close to the prices listed. The old stuff is still serviceable and in the spares bag.

Can you pull the traveler farther to windward with that system? Dave Farmer has something similar on his 22. He says he can pull it to windward some and pop the hull out of the water a little earlier (I believe that's what he told me anyway).

I can bring it all the way to the windward stop if I choose. It works well for pinching in a tight ramp basin.

If anyone has an old traveler system for a 15 (assembled rear beam with track, car and blocks off of a parts boat would be ideal) Let me know, Thanks!
