I have a new to me ARC21. I am resurrecting a boat that has been sitting idle for 15+ years.
1. I don't seem to have any of the downhaul/cunningham gear. Is there an owners-manual or illustration somewhere? I would even be happy with a photo that someone may be able to share.
2. The center mounted rigging of the traveler system. I have one side rigged, and there appears to be rigging for the other side. However, are they rigged identically on each side? It doesn't seem that both lines will fit the rear crossmember fairlead without creating excess friction.
3. How to rig the auto-tacking jib sheets. I don't know what blocks are used and where the cleating takes place.
4. Finally, there is not alot of information out here on the ARC21. How many were made? Are there areas around the country that they seem to be? Does anyone know the SCHRS for the ARC21?

Re: ARC21 Rigging question
The mainsail should have 3 grommets at the bottom. On the mast there should be a cheeck block and and exit block with a cleat on each side the mast. That, along with a piece of line is the only thing you need for the downhaul. As for rigging it, see my comment at the bottom.Txcatsailor01 wrote: March 8th, 2026, 10:48 pm I have a new to me ARC21. Some of the blocks on the rear beam are for the the forward traveler, the other blocks are for the self tacking jib. As for rigging it, see my comment at the bottom.Txcatsailor01 wrote: March 8th, 2026, 10:48 pm 2. The center mounted rigging of the traveler system. I would suggest going through the process of measuring the boat and getting a rating that is accurate for your boat and sails.
I would suggest contacting Tom at Aquarius Sail either by email (sales@aquarius-sail.com) or 651-462-7245 and he can get you a manual and answer your rigging questions.

Re: ARC21 Rigging question
Matt, I had actually reached out to Tom yesterday. He forwarded a manual this morning. Thank you so much for the help!
I'll let you know if I get stuck anywhere.
