Whats the perferred harness?

Post by gahamby »

I've searched around and can't find any real good recommendations. What do we like for a "out for a sail in a decent wind gonna put it on before I launch kinda harness"?

I found a Neil Pryde trapeze harness at our 'used' loft in Kemah (TX) just like this these:

It is Fantastic!
Not sure of their availability here in the states.
Here is a UK dealer:

You might also call David Lindsay at Cameron Sails in Seabrook, TX 281-326-5566 as they are a Neil Pryde Sail Loft
Good luck!

Franklin,
Thanks for the reply. That harness looks like the one. The UK vendor's price converts to $127, which is a decent price. They were unable to quote shipping in advance. That may be the deal killer. I've e mailed
them and the local NP rep here. We shall see. Shipping from the UK $43. That puts it at $170. That's about in line with the better domestic ones. I have yet to find a stateside vendor.
