SC 17 Jib Options

Post by falseicon »

Jib I'm running currently is on its way out and I'm looking for a quick replacement to get me through the season (will be upgrading once the winter rolls around). Of course would prefer to go with a SC-17 match, but barring success in the Classifieds, anyone have thoughts on alternatives from Hobie/Prindle/etc? I can run a Hobie-16 with ease but it's too small, an 18 looks like it's a bit too large. Open to suggestions if there are any.

You and I are in the same situation. I have a SC19 however and I do know the SC17 and SC19 jibs are one and the same. So that might give you a range of other type sails to look at. I do know for my SC15 the H16 jib sail is very close in size and shape. I am looking for a jib for that as well.
